Puerh tea (普洱茶) is a unique and ancient tea from Yunnan, China, celebrated for its rich flavors and deep cultural heritage. Unlike most teas, Yunnan puerh tea undergoes post-fermentation, allowing it to develop complex aromas, smooth texture, and greater depth as it ages.

There are two main styles of Yunnan puerh tea:

• Raw Puerh (Sheng Puerh, 生普) – naturally aged over time, gradually evolving in flavor and complexity

• Ripe Puerh (Shou Puerh, 熟普) – carefully fermented to create a darker, smoother, and mellower character
