Tea Spirit Flavor Profile
Smooth and full-bodied, this ripe puerh carries earthy depth with a mellow, rounded texture. Floral and woody aromatics rise gently from the cup, with subtle orchid notes and a soft, lingering sweetness. Balanced and steady, it unfolds gracefully across multiple infusions.
Tea Leaf Characteristics
Spring and autumn picked mixture (two leaves and a bud) from 300+ year-old arbor trees, these large-leaf varietals develop structure and depth through careful fermentation. The result is a smooth, cohesive cup with lasting sweetness and forest-grown character.
Blang Ethnic Group
The Blang people are among the earliest cultivators of tea, with over 1,400 years of history. Their traditional bamboo basket fermentation techniques shape the earthy smoothness of ripe puerh while preserving subtle floral complexity.
Location on Jingmai Mountain
Crafted from ancient trees growing at 5,249 ft on Jingmai Mountain. High elevation, biodiversity, and forest cultivation slow leaf development, contributing to the tea’s depth, clarity, and refined aromatics.

Really enjoyed this one. It’s clean, smooth and sweet. I’m a fan of ripes on the sweet side and this fits the bill. Honey dipped dates, stone fruits, thick huigan and a classic ripe, oaky earthiness balancing it all together. Great for beginners as well as experienced tea lovers. No fishy or off odor or taste, very smooth and pleasant body and aroma throughout.

I really enjoyed this tea. It was full-bodied and well-balanced with notes of vanilla, date, honey. I would definitely purchase this again, or try another Purcraftea product.
